The Balrog I started a few months ago has been given its last brush stroke!
There were quite a few parts done in after the previous post.
The wings, tail and right leg were painted. The base was attached, and the whip was added.
The whip isn’t the one that came in the box, as I decided it look less like a whip, and more like tentacles.

The quest to finish the Balrog continues. After assembly, I basecoated the entire model in Skull White, deciding against the Foundation Paints. I used two thin coats, but next time I may go with a spray can on Skull White, rather then applying with a brush.

I’ve almost forgotten how frustrating modelling can be. I spent quite a bit of time attempting to glue the right hand leg so it lines up correctly with the base.

The Games Workshop Balrog minature is a pretty cool piece, and I’ve been eyeing it off for a while now. So I’ve bought the model, and started to construct it. I’ll be posting some WIP photos as I go along. I haven’t painted a minature in quite a while, so this will be a bit of a challenge.
