Technology Supporting Bushfire Relief is an Infoxchange project that helps community services provide access to technology for those affected by the Victorian bushfires.

The call to create the website to support this project was made on the Monday, with the site needing to be live as soon as possible.

Some criteria needed to be met, which included:

• A way for people to offer assistance
• Being able to ask for assistance
• A news section to post information about progression of the project
• A way for people to find technology hubs and services near them
• A forum to allow for communication around the project

Infoxchange Australia has launched a new website – to co-inside with its new branding direction.

Its a much cleaner look – compared with the previous site. The portal nature of the interface we hope will be able to funnel people to the correct resource quickly.

Technically its much more flexible now, using Drupal as the content management system, our content team can update the site easier and more frequently.

So, with the new website up, lets take a look at the history of the infoxchange.net.au website.
